Snag Your Tickets Now to Merriweather Symphony of Lights

After the past couple of years, you’re probably craving some holiday cheer more than ever! The Merriweather Symphony of Lights oozes it from every illuminated bulb. The massive light display has been setting Howard County’s sky aglow for more than a quarter of a century, and it’s returning this year for another safe and socially-distanced experience.

There are two ways to enjoy the light display: by vehicle or by foot. Most evenings, the Merriweather Symphony of Lights at Merriweather Post Pavilion is drive-through only with a flat rate of $20 charge per vehicle. However, on special “walk-thru” nights, you can get out of your car and get closer to the lights on foot. Regardless of how you enjoy the evening, you’ll encounter more than 300,000 twinkling bulbs along your journey. That’s how many lights it takes to create a magical winter wonderland. Watch an illuminated locomotive seemingly chugging along and pose beneath an arching holly branch emblazoned with a bright red bow. Watch a holiday scene dance across a 150-foot screen and wave to Santa’s elves as they work hard to pull off another holiday without a hitch. Reserve your tickets online to be part of this year’s event!
